MANILA – Iloilo guns for solo leadership when it battles VNS Volleyball Club in the Spikers' Turf Open Conference at the Paco Arena in Manila on Sunday.

The D'Navigators, tied for the lead with the Cignal HD Spikers and Cotabato Spikers at 2-0, will meet the Griffins at 3 p.m.

Jadealex Disquitado, who scored 16 points in leading Iloilo to a 25-23, 25-20, 25-21 victory over National University (NU) on Jan. 29, is expected to deliver anew with support coming from skipper Jerome Michael Cordez, Deanne Neil De Pedro, John Michael Apolinario, Mfena Gwaza and Rash Nursiddik.

VNS, on the other hand, will bank on Ron Medalla, Philip Michael Bagalay, Jeremy Pedrosa and Russel Fronda, who starred in the Griffins' 25-18, 30-28, 26-24 win over the Vanguard Volley Hitters on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, NU and the Philippine Air Force will try to end their slump when they square off at 5:30 p.m.

Mac Arvin Bandola, Ahmad Abdul, Rwenzmel Taguibolos and Leo Ordiales will lead the NU Archipelago Builders while the Airmen will rely on Alnakran Abdilla, Ralph Christian Calasin, Edwin Tolentino, Rodolfo Labrador and Mike Abria. (PNA)
