Parts of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, QC waterless on Feb. 20-27

MANILA – Parts of the cities of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Quezon will go waterless as the Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) on Saturday announced a water interruption due to its network maintenance from Feb. 20 to 27.

In its advisory, Maynilad said the maintenance activities are part of its continuous effort to improve water services in the West Zone.

In Caloocan City, the affected areas from 10 p.m. of Feb. 20 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 21 are Barangays 81, 83, 84, 85, 132 to 134, 136, 138 to 142 and 144 to 154, specifically in Zapote Road.

Likewise, Barangays 112, 122 to 124 will be affected from 11 p.m. of Feb. 20 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 21, particularly in Quezon corner Boni Serrano.

Barangays 112, 122 to 124 will be affected from 11 p.m. of Feb. 23 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 24, specifically in Magsaysay corner 9th Street.

Also, from 11 p.m. of Feb. 20 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 21 the affected areas are Barangays 77 to 80 particularly in Pio Valenzuela corner Samson Road; Barangays 65 to 67, 69, 70, and 75, specifically in Del Rey; and Barangay Baesa, particularly in Baltazar corner 10th Avenue.

On the other hand, Barangays 66 to 68, 71, 72, and 75-80 will be waterless from 11 p.m. of Feb. 21 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 22, specifically in 10th Avenue corner D. Aquino.

Meantime, Barangay Bangkulasi will be affected from 11 p.m. of Feb. 22 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 23, particularly in Alpha corner Northbay.

Barangays 146 and 150, specifically in Kapayapaan corner Malolos Avenue, will be waterless from 11 p.m. of Feb. 23 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 24.

Barangays 158 and 159 will be affected from 11 p.m. of Feb. 24 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 25, particularly in Baesa Road corner Bougainvilla; and Barangays 117 to 120, specifically in Rizal Avenue corner 4th Avenue.

In Malabon City, Barangays 161 and Potrero, particularly in Zapote Road, will be affected from 10 p.m. of Feb. 20 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 21.

In Navotas City, from 11 p.m. of Feb. 21 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 22, the affected areas are Barangay Daanghari, specifically in M. Naval corner F. Pascual and Leonson corner Gov. Pascual (Left).

In Quezon City, Barangay Holy Spirit, particularly in Commonwealth Avenue corner Holy Spirit, will be affected from 11 p.m. of Feb. 20 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 21.

Barangays Unang Sigaw, specifically in Ghana Compound and Cloverleaf; Balong Bato and Baesa, particularly in Quirino Highway corner T.S. Cruz; Balong Bato, specifically in Caroline; and Bahay Toro, particularly in Road 23 corner Road 18 Extension will be affected from 10 p.m. of Feb. 21 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 22.

Barangays Dona Imelda, particularly in Landargun corner Araneta; Apolonio Samson, specifically in Toktocan corner Ventura; Balingasa, particularly in Balingasa corner Harmony; and Bahay Toro, specifically in General Avenue corner Tandang Sora will be affected from 10 p.m. of Feb. 22 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 23.

Barangays Talipapa, particularly in Del Mundo corner Quirino Highway; Baesa, specifically in Howmart corner Quirino; and Talipapa, particularly in Sauyo Road corner Alimasag will be affected from 10 p.m. of Feb. 23 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 24.

Barangays Balong Bato, specifically in Baesa Road corner Quirino Highway; Paraiso, particularly in Roosevelt corner Cooper; Sangandaan, specifically in Benefits corner Claims; and Balong Bato, particularly in Quirino Highway corner Baesa and Leeland Drive will be affected from 10 p.m. of Feb. 24 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 25.

On the other hand, Barangay Sangandaan, specifically Branches; and Barangay Bungad and Veterans Village, particularly in Saleng corner Payna will be affected from 10 p.m. of Feb. 25 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 26.

Barangays Bungad and Veterans Village, specifically in Saleng corner Payna; and Barangay Baesa, particularly in Sitio Pajo and St. John corner St. Andrews (Villa Arca) will be affected from 10 p.m. of Feb. 26 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 27.

The affected customers were advised to store enough water for the duration of the water interruption.

There will be water tankers on standby and ready to deliver water to affected areas when necessary. (PNA)
