4 PNP top performing regional offices cited

MANILA – Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. on Tuesday congratulated the Police Regional Offices (PROs) that excellently performed for the past year.

This came after the release of the results of the "Unit Performance Evaluation Rating” (UPER) of all 17 police regional offices nationwide for the year 2022, the PNP Public Information Office said in an advisory.

The top performing PROs are from Calabarzon, Cordillera, Bicol and Mimaropa.

The PRO 4A (Calabarzon) under Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez recorded the highest ratings for the months of November (97.21 percent) and December (98.21 percent) and March (94.86 percent).

PRO Cordillera recorded the highest ratings for the months of June (97.05 percent), July (96.53 percent), April (95.69 percent), and May (95.59 percent).

Meanwhile, PRO 5 (Bicol) recorded the highest ratings for the months of October (96.42 percent), August (96.35 percent), January (95.68 percent), and February (95 percent), while PRO 4B (Mimaropa) recorded the highest ratings for the month of July (96.53 percent) and September 2022 (96.50 percent).

The monthly UPER parameters include measuring the implementation of discipline, law and order; conduct of recruitment and selection process; ensuring personnel morale and welfare; human resource actions on placement and promotion; management of personnel and records; and personnel plans and policies.
