PH Army rules Game of the Generals

MANILA – Team Army was crowned overall champion in the Game of the Generals (GOG) at the Philippine Army Firing Range in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on Feb. 28.

Bannered by commanding general Lt. Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr., Team Army dominated all three stages of the competition.

Team Navy was first runner-up while Team Philippine National Police finished as second runner-up.

Generals assigned at the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) General Headquarters, Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Navy, Philippine National Police, and Philippine Coast Guard joined the event which was among the activities lined up in celebration of the Philippine Army’s 126th founding anniversary anchored on the theme “Army@126: Strong, United and Reliable."

Brawner said that the game aims not only to showcase shooting skills but also to display sportsmanship and foster camaraderie among the leaders of the military and law enforcement agencies. (PNA)
