MANILA – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started the repair works for the preventive rehabilitation of 358 linear meter road section of Radial Road 10 (R-10) to C3 Road in Navotas City.
According to the report of Malabon-Navotas District Engineering Office (MN DEO) head Aristotle Ramos to Regional Director Loreta Malaluan, the rehabilitation works started on Wednesday and are expected to be completed by August 2023.
Ramos added that the simultaneous rehabilitation works on both ends of the project will be implemented to lessen the impact of the rehabilitation on the traffic in the area.
The DPWH has already started the concreting of two lanes of C3 Road to North Bay Boulevard while the rehabilitation of the two inner lanes from R-10 to North Bay Boulevard began on Thursday.
Ramos added that the project aims to replace the dilapidated road and improved the riding surface for the safety and convenience of motorists and commuters traversing R-10 and C3 roads.
Meanwhile, since moderate traffic is expected for the duration of the repairs, motorists and commuters have been advised to access other lanes which have already been concreted and opened to vehicles. (PNA)
