MANILA – Parts of the cities of Caloocan, Navotas, and Quezon will go waterless as Maynilad Water Services, Inc. announced water interruptions on April 17-24 due to its network maintenance.
In its advisory on Saturday, Maynilad said the maintenance activities are part of its continuous effort to improve water services in the West Zone.
In Caloocan City, the affected areas from 11 p.m. of April 17 to 4 a.m. of April 18 are in Barangays 28, 31, and 35, specifically along Dagat-Dagatan extension corner C3, and Barangays 99 to 102, particularly along 9th Street and 8th Street corner Galino III.
Barangays 20, 12, and 14, specifically along Tilapia corner Tamban, Lapu-Lapu (northeast) corner Dagat-Dagatan and Pagadang Alley corner C3, respectively will be affected from 11 p.m. of April 18 to 4 a.m. of April 19.
Barangays 93, 97, 98, 101 to 105, 107, 108, and 121, particularly along 9th Street corner 10th Avenue; Barangays 134 and 135, specifically along Tirad Pass corner Gen. Tinio; and Barangay 157, particularly along Tangke corner Sampaguita, will be affected from 11 p.m. of April 19 to 4 a.m. of April 20.
Barangay 80, specifically along Dunwoody corner Edison, will be affected from 11 p.m. of April 20 to 4 a.m. of April 21.
Barangay 147, particularly along Gregorio de Jesus corner Progreso, will be affected from 11 p.m. of April 21 to 4 a.m. of April 22.
In Navotas City, Barangay Northbay Boulevard (south), specifically along Dalagang Bukid (west) corner C3, will be affected from 11 p.m. of April 17 to 4 a.m. of April 18.
In Quezon City, Barangay Balingasa, particularly along 9th Street and 8th Street corner Galino III, will be affected from 11 p.m. of April 17 to 4 a.m. of April 18.
Barangay Gulod, specifically along Villareal corner Quirino Highway; Barangays Paltok and Paraiso, particularly along Roosevelt corner Cooper, will be affected from 10 p.m. of April 18 to 6 a.m. of April 19.
Barangay San Antonio, specifically along Batangas corner Roosevelt, will be affected from 10 p.m. of April 19 to 6 a.m. of April 20.
Barangays Toro, Sauyo, and Tandang Sora, particularly Bagbag, will be affected from 10 p.m. of April 21 to 6 a.m. of April 22.
Barangays Apolonio Samson, Balingasa, and Pag-ibig sa Nayon, specifically along A. Bonifacio corner Old Balingasa, will be affected from 10 p.m. of April 22 to 6 a.m. of April 23.
Barangays Don Manuel and Dona Aurora, particularly along Sto. Tomas corner Plaridel, will be affected from 11 p.m. of April 23 to 6 a.m. of April 24.
The affected customers are advised to store enough water for the duration of the water interruption.
Water tankers will be on standby and ready to deliver water to affected areas when necessary. (PNA)
