LPA affects Kalayaan Islands

MANILA – Kalayaan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to a low-pressure area spotted 410 kilometers northwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan at 3 a.m. Sunday.

The whole Visayas, rest of Palawan and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies or localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds from northeast to southeast will prevail over the whole Visayas and from east to southeast, will prevail over Palawan, including the Kalayaan Islands.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have warm and humid weather condition with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
