SLIVNITSA, Western Bulgaria -- Caretaker Regional Development Minister Ivan Shishkov launched Friday the construction of the last stretch of the Europe Motorway between the western town of Slivnitsa and the Sofia ring road.
He clarified that the detailed development plans have already been approved, the compulsory purchase has been completed and a building permit has been obtained for this site.
Shishkov pointed out that the work on the section should be completed within a year and a half, which will also mark the completion of Europe Motorway's construction as a whole. (BTA)
