MANILA – The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has resolved all issues and concerns received through the Office of the President’s 8888 Citizens’ Complaint Center within 72 hours.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, DAR Secretary Conrado Estrella III said the 100-percent accomplishment ratings in resolution and compliance by the DAR drew a commendatory message from 8888 Citizens’ Complaint Center Director Bernadette Casinabe for its exemplary performance.

“DAR resolved all 212 issues and concerns brought to its attention, from January 1 to April 30, 2023, within the 72-hour compliance period for 100-percent resolution and compliance ratings,” Estrella said.

He said the enviable accomplishment ratings in resolution and compliance are significant improvements from DAR’s previous ratings when the DAR nearly made it by resolving all 491 issues and concerns referred to it, but six within the 72-hour compliance period.

The near-perfect accomplishment ratings in 2022 prompted Estrella to make a vow: “This year, we will do our best to hit our target: ‘100-percent accomplishment ratings in both resolution and 72-hour compliance.’” (PNA)
