Diesel, kerosene prices up Nov. 28; gasoline unchanged

MANILA – After several weeks of rollbacks, pump prices of petroleum products will increase effective Tuesday.

In separate advisories, Seaoil Philippines Inc., Caltex Philippines, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Petron Corp. said they will increase diesel prices by PHP0.30 per liter and kerosene by PHP0.65 per liter.

Cleanfuel, Jetti Petroleum and PTT Philippines will also increase diesel prices by PHP0.30 per liter.

There will be no price adjustment for gasoline.

Last week, oil companies implemented a slight decrease on pump prices, with gasoline prices going down by PHP0.75 per liter, diesel by PHP0.65 and kerosene by PHP0.60.

Data from the Department of Energy (DOE) showed that as of Nov. 21, price adjustments resulted in a year-to-date net increase of PHP12.30 per liter for gasoline, PHP5.70 per liter for diesel and PHP1.09 per liter for kerosene. (PNA)
