PBBM names Antonio Nebrida Jr. new PTV chief

MANILA – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed Antonio Baltazar Nebrida Jr. to head the state-run broadcasting network People's Television Network (PTV).

In a Facebook post on Friday, the Presidential Communications Office announced that President Marcos named Nebrida as the network's acting general manager, as well as a representative of the private sector on the board of directors.

Prior to his new appointment, Nebrida served as the spokesperson of the Department of Migrant Workers during the term of the late DMW Secretary Susan Ople.

Nebrida replaced veteran broadcast journalist Analisa Puod. (PNA)
