CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Police seized illegal drugs with an estimated street value of PHP1.37 million and arrested six individuals in a series of drug sting operations in Bulacan and Pampanga on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
In a statement, Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 (Central Luzon) Director, Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., said at about 1:09 a.m. on Thursday, Mabalacat City Police operatives arrested alias "Jun" during a buy-bust in Barangay Dau. The 42-year-old suspect was found with 15 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP102,000.
In Barangay Del Carmen, San Fernando City, police apprehended alias “Den,” 50, and alias “Nel,” 29, on Wednesday evening. The duo was caught with 80 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of PHP520,000.
Hidalgo added that at about 3 a.m. on Thursday, the Guiguinto Municipal Police conducted a buy bust in Barangay Tuktukan, which resulted in the arrest of alias “Joshua,” 21.
"He was found with around 4,000 grams of suspected marijuana with a standard drug price of PHP480,000," he said.
Meanwhile, Bocaue cops arrested alias “DJ,” 22, and alias “Sunshine,” 20, during a buy-bust along McArthur Highway, Barangay Lolomboy. Seized from their possession were 2,250 grams of suspected marijuana worth PHP270,000.
"These arrests reflect our unwavering commitment to eliminating illegal drugs. Our coordinated efforts and community support are vital in this fight. We will continue to pursue those involved in illicit activities to ensure a safer environment for all." Hidalgo said. (PNA)
