Lilia Estillore, regional director of the Department of Labor and Employment-7, said Thursday these workers aided by the national government through the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Displaced/Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) are from the 22 towns of Bohol province.
She said beneficiaries were tapped for the repair, maintenance, and improvement of common public facilities and infrastructure community clean-up, as well as agro-forestry community projects for 10 days.
She added each TUPAD worker was paid a daily wage of PHP468.
