Security Bank, UnionBank set holiday schedules

MANILA – Select branches of Security Bank of the Philippines and Union Bank of the Philippines will remain open even during Rizal Day (December 30) and on the last weekend of this year.

In an advisory, Security Bank said all its branches will be closed on December 25 and December 31, 2020 and on January 1, 2021.

However, some branches will continue to operate on Rizal Day, a national holiday, and on January 2, 2021.

These branches are the Butuan Branch, Dipolog Branch, Tacloban Rizal Branch, Tacloban Veteranos Branch, Cebu-Danao Branch and Zamboanga Branch.

All branches of Unionbank will be closed on December 25, December 30, and December 31, 2020 and on January 1, 2021.

However, some of its branches that operate on Saturdays will be open December 26 and on January 2.

These are the Davao-Monteverde branch, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; and those in Cebu Sumilon (Business Park) and Cebu Banilad, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Also, the BGC Uptown Place Mall, Eastwood, and St. Francis-Shangri La, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; the one in Alabang Town Center, 10 a.m.- 5p.m.; and the one in Alabang Country Club, 9 a.m.- 5p.m.

Two branches will also be operating on December 27 and January 3 and these are in Alabang Town Center, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., and Alabang Country Club, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. (PNA)
