MANILA – There will be minimal price adjustments on fuel prices starting 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.

In separate advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, Phoenix Petroleum, PTT, Seaoil and Shell said they will increase gasoline prices by PHP0.80 per liter and diesel by PHP0.60 per liter.

Caltex, Seaoil and Shell, on the other hand, will cut kerosene prices by PHP0.10 per liter.

With the oil price hikes last week, gasoline prices had a net increase of PHP7.80 per liter since the start of the year, while diesel and kerosene prices are lower by PHP1.35 and PHP2.60 per liter, respectively.

The strong economic data in the United States and the growing demand from China have fueled upward price adjustments this week.

According to the Department of Energy, gasoline prices in Metro Manila range from PHP52 to PHP76.85; diesel prices, from PHP46.95 to PHP70.48; and kerosene prices, from PHP64.81 to PHP77.25. (PNA)
