MANILA – Gokongwei-led carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) is further expanding its services in the Visayas and Mindanao, resuming Tacloban and introducing Zamboanga flights via Iloilo.
Four weekly flights to Tacloban will start on October 27, every Tuesday,Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Thrice weekly flights between Iloilo and Zamboanga will begin on Oct. 28, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
"We look forward to flying more Juans across our growing inter-island network and better enabling them to discover the beautiful islands of the Philippines," CEB president Xander Lao said in a statement Wednesday.
He said the resumption of Tacloban and the launch of Zamboanga flights are aligned with their mission of making air travel more accessible to the public.
Until Sept. 15, the additional routes can booked for as low as PHP1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges, for travel from Oct. 27 and 28, 2024 until March 31, 2025.
To date, CEB flies to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations. (PNA)
