How the LP crumbles

THE withdrawal of the complaint filed by Atty. Jude Sabio against Pres. Rodrigo Duterte uncovered and validated the sinister plot to oust the latter. A conscience-stricken Sabio made a true confession that the scheme was all the handiwork of the political opposition that had been salivating for power.

The lawyer’s revelations of how they came up with the intricate plot to oust Duterte and install Vice Pres. Leni Robredo in his stead with erstwhile Sen. Antonio Trillanes as VP, fitly dovetails with the story of Peter Joemel Advincula. The latter is, of course, the hooded Bikoy who appeared on TV to recite what turned out as a spiel done by a paid black propagandist accusing the family of the President, including his pre-teen daughter Kitty and Executive Asst. Bong Gon, as the real drug lords in his expose’ titled “Ang Totoong Narco-list”.

In case you missed or forgot some salient tips from Advincula’s confession he mentioned the name of a Jesuit priest, a Bert Alejo, who he claimed, introduced him to Senator Trillanes who, in the oust-Duterte plot dubbed as “Project Sodoma” was identified as “Stella”. Remember too that it was Trillanes who, along with Sen. Leila De Lima who produced that perjured witness Edgar Matobato who claimed to be a member of the Davao Death Squad which was actually a myth. Advincula in his confession tagged himself and Matobato as “whistleblowers for hire”.

Now add to these two episodes the entry of UNCHR Special Rapporteur Agnes Callamard who pressed for the investigation of Duterte’s alleged involvement in extra-judicial killings and you will come up with a travesty of concoctions to remove Duterte from the Presidency and install Robredo whom they can hold by the nose. A desperate move indeed which was also designed to discredit the senatorial bets identified with the President’s PDP -Laban Party and those of Davao City Mayor Inday Sara’s Hugpong ng Pagbabago. The result of those midterm elections, of course, spelled the doom of the LPs for not a single bet of its “Otso Deretso” senatorial survived.

The latest and shocking revelation of Atty. Jude Sabio put in place the missing pieces in the evil plot to oust Duterte. Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go who was among those implicated by Bikoy in his “Ang Totoong Narco-list,” says: “Kanya kanyang araw lang yan, at ang lahat ay may kalalagyan”. For now, those implicated by Sabio enjoy their unfettered freedom because Mt. Taal erupted. One thing is sure, however, no matter how thick is the ashfall nothing can conceal the plot contrived by the ass holes.

And that is how the opposition Liberal Party crumbles (under the weight of its own lies).
