PHL-Japan Grant Agreementfor Power Distribution in Bangsamoro Area

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) sign Thursday (March 30, 2017) a 771 million yen (about Php 348.8 million) grant in aid for Bangsamoro energy project. "By helping resolve the power supply issues in conflict-affected areas, we aim to help the Philippines create more economic activities in the region,” says JICA Chief Representative Susumu Ito during a press conference after the agreement signing held at NEDA Executive Lounge, Pasig City.
