Protest vs. CPP-NPA in Isabela

NO TO COMMUNIST DECEPTION. Placard-bearing residents of Bgy. Dibuluan, San Mariano, Isabela on Friday (Aug. 9) protest the “fact-finding mission” by Gabriela party-list Rep. Arlene Brosas and her group on alleged military abuses.  The fact-finding mission proved unsuccessful. The Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) and its front organizations are in a panic mode as the troops from Army’s the 502nd Infantry Brigade and 95th Infantry Battalion are beginning to achieve positive results of their Community Support Program (CSP) in the area, which calls for engaging the community, educating them on the deceptions and exploitation of the NPA, and bringing in the civil government to provide services to the community.
