MOURNING. The Philippine flag in front of the New Executive Building inside the Malacañang Palace compound is lowered to half-mast on Monday (Aug. 1, 2022) to honor former president Fidel V. Ramos who died on July 31, 2022 at age 94. Ramos became the 12th president of the Philippines in 1992, succeeding the late former president Corazon C. Aquino. (NIB photo by Yancy Lim)
