US CLEAN ENERGY COMMITMENTS TO TO THE PHILIPPINES

 

WIND ENERGY. US Ambassador to the Philippines MaryKay Loss Carlson, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Philippine Ambassador to the US Jose Manuel Romualdez, and Energy Usec. Wimpy Fuentebella (standing, from left) witness the signing ceremony for the American government's grant to Aboitiz Renewables, Inc. (ARI) for a feasibility study on a wind energy project held at Ayala Triangle in Makati City on Saturday (Aug. 6, 2022). The pact signed by Enoh Ebong (seated, left), director of the US Trade and Development Agency, and David Aboitiz, ARI vice president for commercial strategy, sales and engagement, will help identify potential project sites and provide technical and economic analysis to deploy up to 3 gigawatts of offshore wind turbine generation projects to power more than two million homes and meet growing energy demand.
