NOT SO SWEET. Sugar varieties are on a display on the shelf of a supermarket in Barangay 176 in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City on Monday (Aug. 8, 2022). The Department of Agriculture is looking at putting a suggested retail price on sugar at PHP90 per kilo, as prices of the commodity have reached as high as PHP100 per kilo in other stores and markets.
