SENATE, HOUSE KICK OFF 2023 NAT’L BUDGET BICAM

FINAL PHASE. The Senate and the House of Representatives open the bicameral deliberations on the proposed PHP5.268 trillion national budget for 2023 at the Manila Golf Club in Makati City on Friday (Nov. 25, 2022). Committee on Finance chair Senator Sonny Angara (seated, 4th from right) said their amendments kept intact the principles of the Medium-Term Fiscal Framework, while House Speaker Martin Romualdez assured that they have enough time to pass the reconciled version for President Ferdinand R.
