Q3 turnaround lifts Indonesia over Perlas

MANILA -- Perlas Pilipinas suffered a huge meltdown in the third quarter and succumbed to Indonesia, 68-78, in the South East Asian Games women's basketball at the Malaysian Basketball Association Stadium in Kuala Lumpur Monday night.

Perlas failed to sustain a good start as Indonesia slowly climbed up and turned the tides against the Philippines right after halftime, going on a 25-9 third quarter to take the lead for good.

Natasha Debby Christaline led Indonesia with 25 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and one steal, while Yuni Anggraeni added a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds with three assists and two steals.

Aliana May Lim led Perlas with 13 markers and four markers. (PNA)
