MANILA -- Max’s Group Inc. (MGI) has inked a partnership with Kasamar Holdings (KH) to bring Sizzlin’ Steak stores in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In a disclosure with the Philippine Stock Exchange Monday, MGI said the partnership with KH targets to build seven Sizzlin’ Steak outlets in UAE in the next five years.
“We are witnessing the emergence of Sizzlin’ Steak as a global mainstream brand. At the same time, we are pleased with our partnership with Kasamar Holdings to introduce our hot plate concept to the UAE,” MGI President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Trota said.
The tie-up marks MGI’s fourth development contract for the year, while the projects add to over 130 stores of the company set to open in the coming years.
MGI now operates 655 stores, including 55 franchised outlets in North America, Middle East, and Asia. KH Director Mo Bississo noted the first Sizzlin’ Steak in UAE will open by 2018.
KH, a family-led business in UAE, is engaged in private equity and venture, real estate, and public securities. It is also one of the largest private healthcare providers in UAE. (PNA)
