MANILA -- Isolated rainshowers may prevail over most parts of the archipelago, the state weather bureau said Saturday morning.

The tail-end of a cold front is affecting the eastern part of southern Luzon and Visayas, while the northeast monsoon is affecting northern and central Luzon, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The regions of Bicol, Eastern and Central Visayas, and CARAGA will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains due to the northeast monsoon, while the same weather system will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos, the rest of central Luzon, and the rest of Calabarzon.

The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds would prevail over the archipelago with moderate to rough seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
