TUGUEGARAO CITY -- The Balay ni IFAN Media Group will aid the National Nutrition Council-Region 2 (NNC-2) in assessing the effectiveness of its nutrition information and education campaigns aired over different radio stations and media partners in Cagayan Valley.
Maria Gisela M. Lonzaga, OIC Nutrition Program Coordinator of NNC-2, said the members of the group pledged their support during the conduct of their first quarter meeting held Thursday at Taj Hotel and Resto/Bar in Tuguegarao City.
As agreed by the body, the expertise of the Cagayan State University (CSU) - Carig Campus, specifically the Mass Communication department under the College of Arts and Sciences will be tapped to lead the conduct of the research.
With the help of students, an in-depth analysis using communication and research tools will be conducted to gauge the effectiveness and reach of NNC-2’s nutrition campaigns.
The members of Balay ni IFAN, NNC-2 and professors of CSU Carig Campus will organize a technical working group to draft and finalize research questionnaires and survey forms. (PNA)
