The Negosyo Center, the 16th to be established in Cavite province, is a partnership between the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the local government unit (LGU) through a memorandum of agreement (MOA).

Under the agreement, the Magallanes local government provides for the needed space (with telephone and internet connection) and staff at the Municipal Cooperative Development Council (MCDC) Building on De Guia Street.

DTI has assigned a staff-trainor who will provide not only business registration assistance but must also help the local entrepreneurs with opportunities for market access and linkage services.

Business owners may also inquire on the available government assistance programs for business expansion plans, and the schedule of trainings and seminars through the Negosyo Center.

The Negosyo Center, which operates under the provisions of the “Go Negosyo Act” and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, is responsible for promoting “ease of doing business and facilitate access to services for Micro-Small-Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) within its jurisdiction.

These services include Business Registration Assistance, Business Advisory Services, Business Information and Advocacy, (Business) Monitoring and Evaluation and perform other functions that may be assigned by the MSMED Council as germane to RA 10644 and other related laws.
