CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga --The Police Regional Office 3 (Central Luzon) on Tuesday launched its newest anti-criminality campaign dubbed “Oplan Clean Riders-Alpha”.

Chief Supt. Amador Corpus, PRO3 director, spearheaded the launching, during which, 500 motorcycle riders from various riders' groups in Central Luzon participated in a motorcade that started at 6 a.m. at the parade grounds here.

“The Oplan Clean Riders-Alpha is designed to lessen crimes involving motorcycle-riding suspects,” Corpus said.

“Oplan Clean Riders-Alpha” calls on all motorcycle owners to avail of the “Clean Riders” stickers by submitting pertinent documents such as original copies of “OR/CR” of motorcycles and valid driver’s license, original Deed of Sale (if not the registered owner) and duly accomplished application form from police offices in their respective areas.

Corpus said the required documents will be forwarded to the Regional Intelligence Division and after record check, “Clean Riders” stickers will be issued to the motorcycle owners.

“I am sure that it will lessen the carnapping of motorcycle because the real owners are identified, and I enjoin our community to continuously participate in our campaign against all forms of criminality, and I call out for the public’s dynamic support in order to attain our common endeavor of preserving peace and order in the entire region,” Corpus added.

He said the event was simultaneously replicated in the different city/provincial police offices in the region wherein more than 700 riders also participated in. (PNA)
