MANILA -- Rains are expected to come again on Saturday due to the easterlies and local thunderstorms, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 4-p.m weather bulletin on Friday, which is effective for 24 hours, PAGASA said the easterlies and thunderstorms would prevail over the country. The easterlies are warm winds blowing from the Pacific and stir cloud formation.
The state-run weather bureau added that Metro Manila and other areas would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to local thunderstorms.
The seaboards of the country are expected to have slight to moderate coastal waters brought by moderate to strong winds.
PAGASA, meanwhile, forecasts a temperature of 16-36°C in the country until Tuesday.
On Friday, PAGASA recorded a minimum temperature of 24.8°C and a maximum temperature of 32.8°C. (PNA)
