MANILA -- Residents of Mindanao and Palawan would have to brace for a rainy Tuesday due to an Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its weather bulletin issued Monday afternoon, PAGASA said the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in the said areas.

PAGASA also cautioned of possible flooding or landslides in these areas caused by light to moderate with occasional heavy rains.

Metro Manila and other areas will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to local thunderstorms.

The seaboards of northern and central Luzon will be slight to moderate, while the other seaboards of the country will be slight to moderate.

The country will have a temperature range of 17 to 39 degrees Celsius until Friday.

On Monday, PAGASA recorded a minimum temperature of 26.4 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 35.6 degrees Celsius at the PAGASA weather station in Quezon City. (PNA)
