Manila-Busuanga flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA -- Four flights between Manila and Busuanga were cancelled Monday afternoon due to the inclement weather, according to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).

These flights were Skyjet (M8) 717/718, 713/714 Manila-Busuanga-Manila flights.

Earlier today, MIAA also announced four cancelled flights between Manila and Basco.

Latest report from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said severe tropical storm "Maliksi" was last eyed at 2,370 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes.

It has a maximum sustained winds of 90 km/h, and gustiness of up to 115 km/h.

"Maliksi" is forecast to move east-northeast at 40 km/h. (PNA)
