MANILA -- Looking to salvage its playoff hopes, Magnolia Hotshots went for another import change.

The Hotshots brought in Wayne Chism to replace Justin Jackson as their PBA Commissioner's Cup import.

Chism is already a familiar name as he played for Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters and NLEX Road Warriors -- both with Yeng Guiao as head coach -- in his previous stints in the mid-season conference.

But this time, he will play under Coach Chito Victolero and the Purefoods franchise as the team needs to win its last two games to gain outright quarterfinal qualification.

Interestingly, Chism, who flew in over the weekend and even watched the Sunday night doubleheader at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City with teammate Paul Lee, will face Guiao and NLEX in his first game with Magnolia as the league resumes action following the FIBA international break on July 4.
