MANILA -- Filipino club Execration will represent the Philippines in the Final Four of the Mineski Pro Gaming League (MPGL) Asian Championship.
The playoff phase will take place during the Digital Thailand Big Bang Roadshow at the Central Plaza in Khon Kaen in Thailand on July 6-8.
The all-Filipino squad consisting of skipper Kimo Rodis, Nando Mendoza, Karl Jayme, and Jomari Anis will battle Malaysian-based Clutch Gamers, China's Keen, and Indonesian squad EVOS for a USD40,000 (around PHP2.12 million) cash pot in the double elimination tournament.
The proceeds of the event will go to charity and spectators are also encouraged to donate for the construction of the new operating room of the Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast in Thailand. (PNA)
