CAMP GEN. PANTALEON GARCIA, Imus City – Police operatives have arrested a suspected illegal drug peddler for yielding about 125 grams of suspected shabu worth some PHP850,000 during a drug bust operation in Dasmariñas City on Wednesday.
Senior Supt. William Segun, Cavite provincial police director, identified one of the suspected drug peddlers as Ainah Said Alimbaracat, alias “Aina Mocaibat”, 24, of Barangay Datu Esmael, Dasmariñas City who was caught by Dasmariñas drug enforcement unit and Cavite Provincial Intelligence Branch Wednesday night.
Police seized from the female suspect a transparent plastic containing suspected “shabu” weighing around 125 grams worth PHP 850,000; small weighing scale; a PHP500 marked money and another small plastic sachet of suspected “shabu” weighing 0.5g with estimated street value of PHP3,400.
The suspect now faces criminal charges in violation of Section 5 and Section 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002”. (Dennis Abrina/PNA)
