“We are building a Center for Excellence. She said ALONA Partylist has allocated around PHP20 million for the project while the provincial government provided a counterpart fund of PHP 15 million.

The Quezon partylist representative was at the LSPU-Lopez campus, where she also distributed educational financial assistance for the first semester this year to some 361 scholars of LSPU-Lopez campus, through the Serbisyong Suarez Scholarship Program and the ALONA partylist office starting July 12.

Meanwhile, Lopez Municipal Mayor Rachelle Ubana expressed her appreciation to Rep. Suarez and the provincial government through Gov. David C. Suarez for the educational assistance and scholarship programs.

“Mula sa pamahalaang lokal ng Lopez, walang katapusang pasasalamat ang aming pinararating sa Provincial Government of Quezon hindi lang sa scholarship program, ngunit pati na rin sa iba pang mga programa ng ating mahal na gobernador (from the local government of Lopez, we will forever be grateful to the Provincial government of Quezon not only for the scholarship program but also for several other programs from our beloved Governor),” Ubana remarked.
