MANILA -- Motorists face bitter-sweet adjustments in the prices of petroleum products, as local oil firms get set to once again shake up prices effective 6 a.m. Tuesday (July 17).

In separate announcements, oil companies announced a PHP0.30 per liter increase in the price of unleaded gasoline, while diesel prices are set to be rolled back by a very modest PHP0.15 per liter.

There will be no price adjustment for kerosene this time around, after it went up by PHP0.70 per liter last week.

The oil executives said the price adjustments reflect the movements in the international petroleum market which they are only passing on to Filipino consumers. (PNA)
