MANILA -- Finally breaking out of a winless spell, Rizal can now hope for a huge run that wil put the team in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Datu Cup playoffs.

And for Braulio Lim, the Crusaders' huge win at the Laguna Heroes almost two weeks ago is what they need to spark the rally.

"Ang laking tulong ng panalong ito sa amin (This win helps us much)," Lim, Rizal's head coach, told PNA. "Tumaas yung morale ng mga players ng team (The team players' morale heightened) ."

Among those who got a huge boost with the win was Alvin Vitug, who scored the game-winner that silenced the Alonte Sports Arena in Binan back then.

The Crusaders will go back home on Tuesday night, hosting the Mandaluyong El Tigre at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Rizal and Mandaluyong will lock horns at 9 p.m., right after the 7 p.m. meeting between fellow expansion sides GenSan and Makati. (PNA)
