San Juan is new Trece Martires police chief

TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite –Chief Insp. Lyman O. San Juan, former Calabarzon Regional Protective Security Unit chief, was designated the new officer-in-charge (OIC) of the City Component Police Station here, replacing Supt. Reynan Patam, according to the Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO).

San Juan on Tuesday vowed to have ‘more police visibility’ in his area of jurisdiction, saying that more police on the street "will prevent lawless individuals, groups from committing crimes."

“Police is not just about crime solution, but also deals with crime prevention, thus the need to put more weight in averting crime,” said San Juan, a Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class of 1995 graduate.

PPO, headed by Senior Supt. William Segun, said Patam was re-assigned to the PPO.

Aside from San Juan, the Cavite Police also said Supt. Bonifacio Bosita would be its new Public Information Office Chief.

Bosita replaces the former PIO head Chief Insp. Chito Macaspac, who is now with the PNP’s Highway Patrol Group . (PNA)
