MANILA -- Logistics solutions provider Black Arrow Express has invested in a larger facility to accommodate increasing shipment volumes from e-commerce orders.

Black Arrow Express President Allan Brizuela said in a statement Tuesday that the company is moving to a three-storey warehouse facility in Parañaque City, which has a total area of 18,200 sq. meters.

The building’s ground floor will be used for sorting and dispatching; the second floor for warehousing; and the top floor as executive office and employees’ wellness space.

“This move is just the first step towards bigger things planned for Black Arrow Express,” said Brizuela.

Moreover, the executive said the firm eyes to roll out its first fully-automated sorting system next year to further enhance its services.

Black Arrow Express provides logistics solutions, such as express delivery, warehousing, distribution, brokerage and freight forwarding, and cargo services, he added.

Black Arrow Express is a unit of AAI Group, one of the leading logistics service providers in the country.

The company is also eyeing an expansion to other Southeast Asian countries by 2019 to take advantage of the fast-growing e-commerce market in the region. (PNA)
