NOVELETA, Cavite -- The local government here, in partnership with the Philippine National Police (PNP), will host a one-day mobile caravan on Permit to Carry Firearms Outside Residence (PTCFOR) - starting 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 21) - at the Noveleta Municipal Hall grounds.

Mayor Dino Reyes Chua said the mobile PTCFOR is part of the local government’s support to the PNP’s License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) Caravan initiated by PNP Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde to eradicate loose firearms, avert crimes and institute responsible and legitimate gun ownership.

Chua and his Team Unlad Noveleta are advising all gun owners, not only in Noveleta but also in Cavite province, to process their respective permits right at the town hall complex.

“Gun owners of Cavite need not go to Camp Crame to process permit to carry firearms if they are nearby and the town hall is accessible to them," Chua said.

PNP officers will be on hand to accept application and documentary requirements also for the LTOPF starting 9 a.m. (Dennis Abrina/PNA)
