MANILA -- The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said it is not expecting any damage and aftershocks from the 3.1 magnitude quake that jolted Davao Occidental on Thursday afternoon.
The quake of tectonic origin had a depth of 126 kilometers, and was recorded at about 3:43 p.m.
There were no intensities reported, Philvolcs said.
Meanwhile, at about 3:19 p.m., a magnitude 2.5 quake of tectonic origin was also reported in Calayan, Cagayan.
There were no reported intensities, and Phivolcs said it is not expecting damages and aftershocks. (PNA)
