3 examinees drop out of 4-week Bar exams: SC

MANILA -- Only three examinees did not complete the grueling four week Bar Examinations, the Supreme Court (SC) said Tuesday.

In a statement, the High Court said as per statistics from the Office of the Bar Confidant, 8,155 examinees took the Remedial Law exam and the Legal and Judicial Ethics and Practical Exercises held last November 25.

The exam was the last of the four Bar Sundays held at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila.

A total of 8,156 examinees were present during the second and third Bar Sundays, Nov. 11 and 18, when Civil Law and Taxation Law exams and Mercantile Law and Criminal Law exams were administered, respectively.

The Bar exams started on November 4, 2018, with 8,158 Bar examinees taking the Political Law, International Law, Labor Law and Social Legislation exams. (PNA)
