MANILA -- The supposed opening day of the Fr. Martin Cup Summer League will now take place at a later date.
In a statement Friday night, the management said the scheduled four-game bill at the SGS Gym in Quezon City on Sunday will be postponed "due to a miscommunication problem."
The league initially set Day 1 of the preseason tournament on Saturday, but in an updated schedule, the opener was moved to Sunday.
"We will keep you posted for the latest updates," the statement read on the new date of the tournament opener. (PNA)
