MANILA -- Pasig and 1Bataan barged their way to the quarterfinals of the FIBA 3x3 Asia-Pacific Super Quest following the results of the group stages at the SM Megamall Fashion Hall in Mandaluyong on Saturday.
The Kings swept Pool C, while the Risers will enter the Sunday playoffs as the second seed in Group C.
Pasig needed a basket from Nikola Pavlovic in overtime to beat Jakarta West, 21-19, before romping Absolute 3x3, 21-15, in their other pool assignment.
1Bataan, on the other hand, made quick work of Anytours M1, 21-12, but fell prey to 3x3 EXE Premier, 17-21.
But with 3x3 EXE Premier's 21-16 win against Anytours M1, 1Bataan still clinched a spot in the playoffs.
