MANILA -- Two Filipino fighters found themselves in opposite ends of quick finishes against their respective opponents at ONE: Roots of Honor at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay on Friday night.

Ramon Gonzales put up a quick work of Japanese opponent Akihiro Fujisawa in the curtain-raiser.

However, Eric Kelly found himself at the wrong end of South Korean Kwon Won-Il's own fast finish in another preliminary match.

Gonzales quickly took down Fujisawa, in one minute and 19 seconds into the bout. Gonzales completed a guillotine choke on Fujisawa that forced the latter to tap out.

On the other hand, Kelly did not expect a right hook coming from Kwon, and the latter capitalized by adding some more strikes after the knockdown to seal the knockout in just 19 seconds.

Kelly dropped his sixth consecutive fight. (PNA)
