2 female ‘pushers’ yield P408-K shabu in Naga City

LEGAZPI CITY -- Anti-narcotics operatives seized PHP408,000 worth of shabu from two suspected pushers in a drug operation at Barangay Pacol in Naga City Tuesday.

Christina Avila alias "Tin", and her companion Lynn Austria alias "Tawa", were arrested by anti-narcotics agents in a drug sting at the suspects' residence at A. Solano St., San Alfonso Homes, of said village, according to Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Philippine National Police (PNP) Bicol spokesperson.

The suspects were subject of a search warrant for possession of illegal drugs and peddling.

Seized from the suspects were 60 grams of suspected shabu sorted in 10 pieces plastic sachet and a knot-tied transparent plastic bag, the report said.

The suspects and pieces of evidence were brought to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) office in Naga City. (PNA)
