MANILA — A three-team trade that was approved on Monday paved the way for Jericho Cruz to go to the NLEX Road Warriors.
The Road Warriors acquired Cruz from the TNT KaTropa for Marion Magat.
With both teams being sister squads, NorthPort stepped in as conduit, and the team got Mike Miranda from TNT.
Future draft picks also changed hands as the Batang Pier got the Road Warriors' second round pick in this year's PBA Draft.
Both sides also essentially swapped draft orders for the second round of the 2020 draft. NorthPort got NLEX's draft pick and the latter now has the former's second round pick originally owned by San Miguel.
TNT also acquired NorthPort's 2021 and 2022 second rounders in the process. (PNA)
