COTABATO CITY -- The Department of Health (DOH) has turned over PHP13.6-million worth of facilities to North Cotabato's Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) and the Cotabato Provincial Hospital (CPH).

IPHO received a PHP6.1-M medical warehouse facility, while the CPH obtained a PHP7.5-M dietary and laundry services building during the turnover ceremony held Tuesday at the CPH building in Barangay Amas, Kidapawan City.

Outgoing Governor Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza led the turnover of the two projects coursed through the DOH’s Health Facility Enhancement Program.

"These projects were realized because of the strong partnership between DOH and the North Cotabato provincial government,” said Dr. Rubelita Agalot, DOH provincial officer.

For her part, IPHO head Dr. Eva Rabaya thanked the governor for making sure that all the projects funded by DOH were properly implemented in the province. (PNA)
