GENERAL SANTOS CITY -- Anti-drug operatives arrested two target-listed pushers, who were allegedly part of a local drug network, in a buy-bust operation in a subdivision here on Tuesday.

Naravy Duquiatan, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Region 12 director, identified the suspects as Nestor Rosales alias “Boy,” 29, and Henry Tutor alias “Kent.” 24, both residents of Capareda Street in Barangay Lagao.

Duquiatan said the suspects were nabbed at a portion of Villegas Subdivision in Barangay San Isidro around 12:20 a.m. after selling a sachet of suspected shabu worth P500 to a PDEA agent, who posed as a buyer.

She said a subsequent search on the suspects yielded four more sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 0.4 gram and with an estimated street value of PHP2,720 and an unmarked motorcycle used by the suspects during the transaction.

Duquiatan said that aside from peddling shabu, the suspects reportedly act as couriers for a drug supplier.

“(They) transport illegal drugs from an identified source to their customers within General Santos City,” she said in a report released by PDEA-12 on Wednesday. (PNA)
